Exploring Fireflies: The Little Lights of Summer
Help us welcome Ohio Department of Natural Resources Caesar Creek Park Naturalist Kaia Heitkamp.
Caesar Creek State Park is a certified firefly habitat because of the hard work and dedication of ODNR staff efforts to keep the state park the perfect ecosystem for these beneficial insects to thrive. Much work and support is needed to keep these “little lights” flying for summers to come. We will learn how to support them in our communities and backyards so future generations can continue to enjoy the wonder of the fireflies!
