You’ve heard of singing in the rain—but we think what happens after the rain stops is worth chasing!
Join us on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Indian Riffle Park in Kettering, Ohio, for a morning of family-friendly fun, fresh air, and learning about the water that connects us all. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m., with a whistle start at 8:30 a.m.
This year, we are excited to combine our annual Walk for Water, traditionally held along Little Miami Scenic Trail, with a new opportunity to explore the important connection between stormwater and healthy waterways. Run, walk, skip, or crab-walk the course, with signs along the route sharing the exciting world of stormwater and its impact on the watershed’s waterways.
And don’t worry about a little rain—this event is rain or shine (because what better way to learn about stormwater than to see it in action?).
After your jaunt in the park, stick around to celebrate! Friends and partner organizations of the Little Miami Watershed Network will be on hand to help make the morning even more fun while sharing ways we can all help protect and improve our local waterways.
Registration is required for each participant on the course. Online registration closes 10/15/26 at midnight. Walk-up registrations are welcome. All program registration fees will support our year-round efforts to educate, advocate, and clean across the watershed.

- Race-day T-shirt for the first 125 registered participants (option to opt out if you just can’t handle another event t-shirt).
